Constitutional Court (AYM) issued that it is a violation of union rights and freedoms protected by the Constitution for the Council of Ministers to postpone strikes. In the application of United Metal-Labour Union on the postponement of strike in 2015 by the Council of Ministers due to “national security”, the high court unanimously issued a decree of violation as well as 50 thousand TL of compensation.
